Dash to Christmas Block Exchange

The Quilter's Garden will facilitate a block exchange so everyone can make a great Christmas quilt using a variety of fabrics. Each participant will make at least 4 (preferably 9) Churn Dash blocks. These will be exchanged with other participants in the Dash to Christmas group. You will receive as many blocks back as you turn in to exchange. The pattern and block requirements are available now at The Quilter's Garden. All blocks are due to the store no later than 11:00am on Sat October 30th. We will host the exchange that day at noon with door prizes and refreshments.

Come join the fun and exchange with old and make some new friends.
Remember Blocks are due no later than 11:00am Oct 30th

Foodbank Fundraiser Quilt

This Fall we will begin working on a quilt to be raffled to raise money for the Larimer County Food Bank. We will be making a vegetable quilt using Ruth McDowell's book "Pieced Vegetables." Each person will make one block and then the blocks will be pieced together into a quilt. Everyone will learn foundation paper piecing in the process. Please bring a can of non-perishable food to be donated to the Food Bank for the first meeting.

Be sure to come to the first meeting Wed, Sep 14th at 10:30am

Children in Hospital at Christmas

Last year many customers made crib or lap size quilts for children who were hospitalized during Christmas. This was very well received and The Quilter's Garden would like to facilitate this event once again. If you would like to make a quilt please bring it to The Quilter's Garden prior to Thanksgiving, Nov 24th. We will deliver the quilts directly to Poudre Valley Hospital. Thank you so much for your kindness
